Hello! Yesterday me and Amy went to Warped and it was awesome! I just got back from seeing Julie and Julia with Kristen and Elsie (it sucked) and we drank Monster energy drinks and were super hyper/tired when the movie was done so this might be a little weird to read but whatever it's not like I'm going to bed anytime soon. OMG I SUCK SO MUCH. I haven't updated in forever, probably because I've been super busy lately, kinda. On Monday, Amy and Karleigh and I went to Value Village for their 50% off sale, and I got a bunch of cute shirts and sweaters. Then Tuesday, I had a dentist appointment, and the same three of us went to foreign film night at school, and watched The Motorcycle Diaries, which was awesome.

Yesterday I went candystriping! Karleigh was there as usual, but this was Kristen and Amy's first week, so it was super exciting. Also, Karleigh and I stayed for an extra hour to help out with bingo, and it was soooo fun omg.

TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY. It seriously snuck up on me, idgi. I think I've been behind this whole school year, because Halloween snuck up on me too. I'm having my birthday party tomorrow night (sleepover parties ftw), and hopefully it doesn't snow. Because the last two years it snowed a lot. I'm turning 17 jsyk, but it's weird because most of my friends turned 17 forever ago (and a couple of them are turning 18 in 2 months, wtf), so it kind of feels like I'm 17 already? But not, obviously. IT SHOULD BE FUN THOUGH WHOOOOO.

So, uh, remember like 2 weeks ago when Amy and I went to Seattle and it was awesome and I was all LOL I'LL POST PICTURES LATER but then I never did? Yeah, so I guess I'll do that now. NOT DELAYED PICTURES AT ALL.

HELLO! Seattle was so much fun, holy shit. Amy and I were only there for like 3 days, but it felt like a lot longer because we managed to squeeze in so much awesome! I'll post pictures later because I'm too lazy to resize and upload the ones I want (I totally took almost 500 pictures in 3 days btw, idk how that happened) BUT HEY READ THIS IT'S VERY EXCITING AND LONG.

CALGARY PICTURE POST. I wrote all about our trip in this post, but pictures are better than words so suck it. I tried so hard to narrow these down, but I think I failed. There's like 50 pictures under the cut. However, they include a bunch of random Calgary pictures as well as Warped pictures, so w/e.



Quick update time. I've been doing mildly interesting stuff lately, actually. Let's see...on Saturday me, my mom, Mike and Karlie went to Victoria. I bought 2 pairs of jeans, 2 sweaters, 2 cardigans, a belt and a hat at Value Village, and then a V-neck shirt and a dress at one of the malls down there. I think I shop too much, because we went shopping in Calgary too. Oops.

On Sunday we had a ton of family over to our house...my grandparents, Mike's parents (Karlie's grandparents), my aunt Niki, Mike's sister and her husband...there was like 12 of us total or something. It was exhausting but the food was good.

On Monday my mom, my aunt Niki (and her dog Cooper) and I went for a hike to a lake near our house. It was super tiring, but really nice. And then today the three of us went to see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. It was okay, but not great. Karlie left today though, and is spending a few days with Mike in Vancouver, meaning I have the house to myself all day tomorrow for the first time in forever. I'm psyched.

HELLO! I'M BACK! This week was so awesome, seriously. In case you missed it, me and my bff Amy went to Calgary (by bus, ugh) for Warped and other fun Calgary stuff like the zoo and an amusement park and shopping! This entry is going to be way too fucking long so I'm pm putting everything under a cut. I haven't uploaded all my pictures yet, so they'll be in a different entry soon because I'm laaaazy.

That's it I guess! I had lots of fun, and would totally take this trip again if given the chance. There were times when the bus sucked obviously, but going to Warped and doing fun stuff in Calgary totally made up for it. I just finished uploading the pictures while writing this, so I'll probably post them tomorrow or Sunday. Also I was right when I said this entry would be incredibly long, holy shit.

SKJKDLSJHLAHJA WARPED POST! It was amazing! I got home late last night, after being awake for 18 hours (more than 10 of which I was standing) and I was/am completely exhausted but it was so worth it and SO AWESOME. This post is really long, if you actually read it all I'll be really impressed. I'm going to save the pictures for a post tomorrow, because I'm way too lazy to go through and resize them all now.
